please list your 50 favorite international female singers from any country,
not only those who sing in English but in any language. If you are not able
to come up with 50 names, please list as many names as possible.
Question # 3: If you are
familiar with the contemporary American Cabaret music and American musicals,
please list the names of your favorite American female singers whom you
think are the best Cabaret, Torch, Recital, Concert and any musical
show/performance singers/entertainers.

NOTES/FINDINGS: Very strange results and unexpected choices. A-The list
stopped at number 34. No one could come up with 100 names, not even 50! B-
Many famous American singers did not make the list. C- Out of 34 selected
artists, 10 were non-Americans. D-
145 people chose Lauren Bacall! E-
7 people selected Elizabeth Taylor!!!!!! F-
3 people selected Nancy Reagan!! G- 150 persons said that they don’t buy
“American music” anymore! H-
47 persons added a personal note to tell us that Madonna is “not a good singer
because she exposed herself nude on stage”!! I-
In the previous year, 50.000 additional persons purchased 215.000 Madona’s CDs in Europe
for the first time in their life because of Madona’s political views and
attitude toward American foreign policies and President Bush’s stand
vis-à-vis
